System Requirements:
The ability to host a chat room on WinMX and Windows 2003/XP/2000 (Note: Some users find it works on 2000 others find it doesn't)
How to run
1. Download MCMA from the Download Page, and open the file with WinRAR or WinZip (or any other zip utility).
2. Put the files in your WinMX Folder
3. Close WinMX, and when you want to open WinMX do so using MCMA.exe (instead of the WinMX icon)
4. Open your room as normal
Note: Make sure bandwidth throttles are off BEFORE opening the room
Coloured Text
One of the features in MCMA is the ability to use Coloured Text in chat. I will assume you have the default setting of #c%u# for colours however you can change it to anything in mcma.ini
To colour yout text type the colour code before the text, eg #c1# for white, #c2# for yellow. If you want to use multiple colours in your text you can, just put the code for the new colour in where you want the colour to start, for example:
To put your text as green (colour number 4) use:
#c4#This is Green
To have Green text, then Yellow (colour 2) you could use:
#c4#This is Green and #c2#This is Yellow
For a list of avalible colours type #colour in to the channnel.
Bugs
Bandwidth Throttles MUST be turned off before opening the channel, Bandwidth Throttles will crash MCMA - This is because of the anoying way that WinMX hanndles the bandwidth throttles.
The Settings window is disabled while you have a room open, this is because opening settings to the Bandwidth Throttle page (even if you have throttles off) then it could mess up MCMA, so I decided to disable the Settings window as a precaution.
Multiple Colours in a row will cause text to be lost. If you use a colour change then straight away anouther one without any text in between then a bug in WinMX will cause the text after it to be hidden (although if you copy/paste the text you will see the hidden text and 3.31 users will see the text too because they ignore colours)
Also related to this bug: If your name ends in a colour code then you cant do action text, because the colour code on your name followed by the colour code for the action text causes a problem.
This is one bug that I will be able to fix, but not until the next version - Its only a minor thing and there's no point delaying for anouther round of testing before releasing just for this
