if you mean can lettuce be disabled in rabbit then yes it can be just dont have a lettuce.ini, but if you mean can it go on anouther client, no its built in to rabbit and if i made it as a seperate addon then it still wouldn't work on other cliennts because all clients use different methods of loading addons (hence nushi addons not working on winmx or rabbit or robomx)
and as for bendmx - i dont actually see much point in it, the only real reason for it was to put commands on the right click menu's etc, but with 3.53 its not really needed for that, and the other things are either a waste of time or are in other clients like rabbit anyway

KM the right click commands in 3.53 are not RCMS commands. But your right the most useful feature in Bend was the right click CMDs and the other stuff (like the sounds) was a nice side effect for amusement. Also the reason why Bend was so nice is because of its small footprint that integrated un-intrusively in the background that also had an interface that the common man could edit without having to learn basic programing.
So if I wanted sounds again in my 3.53 (like I want a sound to play when my name is called) what small background program do you suggest?

Km I read your reply ,so its an add on to Rabbit not a seperate program .
can lettuce be disabled in rabbit then yes it can be just dont have a lettuce.ini, but if you mean can it go on anouther client, no its built in to rabbit
Thanx that answers my question. And mcma is an add on also then ?
Storb maybe the Mx chat beep program would be able to do something similar (after a bit of modifying ? ) as that used to pick text and respond to it .

maybe that might work...... but to do that you would have to reprogram WinMX, if that solution comes along it would have to come from the makers of WinMX and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Theres no need for Mx to be ripped apart like that its a procedure they use in RCMS and BendMx that "hooks" into the mx program and just intercepts instructions as an when you need it to .
Km knows how to do that ( DLL injection).

as you said the only way to load dll's in to MX is with dll injection and that means doing them all as sepearate things that likely would also result in only running one at a time or so, the next version of MCMA i might put in some kind of "plugin interface" type thing (just to make it inject any other dll's it finds not a real plugin API) but its not high on the list of priorities

For anyone wondering for the time being the Mxtools site is down but you can still get the software via the links and also from a directory that Km has set up until the main site Is fixed.
