Do you think Filesharing is wrong or right?
It is a matter of personal choice and I think it is right to do!

Ok first let me say yes I did vote for "right" but I also know that "right" is going to be what most people vote.... after all isn't that pretty much what most of this forum/message board is all about?
And yes most of the content that gets shared is copyrighted materials that the entertainment industry would have you believe should not be traded freely in programs like WinMX and stuff. What I say is AS LONG AS YOU DON'T GO OUT AND MAKE A PROFTE ON THE STUFF YOU DOWNLOAD THEN THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON WHY YOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD FILES.
The media industry are actually partly to blame for making p2p programs so popular.... by going and suing Napster and making a big media circus out of it, they brought knowledge of p2p to Jo Average on the street. I truly believe that p2p would not be as big as it is now if the Napster Case never came up.

well i personaly think it is ok..because there are many music artist that don't have much fame..and with US!! helping them out by shareing there music and letting others have a chance to lisen to them and if the artist are liked then there person is willing to buy CD's or other muchendise from that Artist....
I VOTED RIGHT!!!!

Mhmm... There are ways around this. There are such things as 'Creative Commons' licences. I think artists (particularly musicians) would do well to look into this.
