QUESTIONS ABOUT BENDMX

I need some help with my bendmx..I am using it with Winmx 3.54 beta 4.....recently it stopped working when i tried to install ADD-ON SOUNDS,,,,so I removed it from my p.c. and re-installed it.. but it still does not work. I cannot here the sounds in the chat rooms...not my chat or any other chat. I have tried to re-load,,,and de-mute,But nothing,,,,I hear nothing at all. What do you sugest I try.
