A Nintendo Entertainment System emulator has been released for the Xbox 360; that means that you can take the ROMs for most (if not all) 20-year-old NES games and play them on your brand new 360. With luck, we'll see a full-blown outbreak of MAME for the 360 soon, which would open the platform to practically every game ever made.

I'm still not going to buy a 360, but this is pretty cool. :) If I were to get a 360, this would be the first thing I'd set up on it.
