What Fire Fox plugins do you use?
Moderator: CricketMX Forum Moderators
I recently came over to FF and was using Netscape and since most everyone else is using the same browser I figure why not share our plugins. or ones we find. So far I have http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/ as a most needed spell checker. Not sure if I can add more than the one dictionary.
I use google for my spellchecker.
I install AdBlock before any other extensions. (Now using Filterset G updater)
FireSomething is cute. Changes title bar from "Mozilla Firefox" to other random names, like "Mozilla Poweremu" and such.
Google Preview shows a thumbnail of pages in google search results.
Image resizer lets you zoom images easily on webpages.
Google Toolbar. I keep it mainly for the easy "search this site for:" icon, and "Up a directory"
OperaView
IEView
FirefoxView
Archive Search checks for cached version of current page in Archive.org > google cache > yahoo cache > msn cache
Duplicate tab
ShowIP
WebDeveloper toolbar (Hidden, but I use the options from context menu)
DNSStuff toolbar
I have a few others too, but these are the ones I really like.

None, I'm happy with Firefox as it is.
I do use a couple of themes though.

Adblock
Adblock Filterset.G Updater
Colorzilla (a colour picker)
Colorful tabs (umm, changes the colours of tabs so you can keep track of your tabs more easily - it really does help!)
Image Zoom (zoom functionality for image files - zoom to various preset magnifications or to a user defined level)
Torrentools Toolbar (search functions for torrents)
FireFTP (a lightweight but functional FTP client)
In windows I use one more, FoxForecast - a regularly updated weather forecast thingy that sits at the bottom. I don't use it in linux as KDE has that functionality anyway.

Extensions
Add Bookmark Here - Adds Bookmark Option to each folder to help original placement. Also works with ook extension.
Allow Right-Click bypasses typical right click blocking scripts.
Always Remember Password Allows the option of remembering secure passwords normally excluded from that option.
Autohide I tend to run with a minimalist look (and with what I use on a right click context menu}. This allows me to autohide other bars such as status and tabbar.
BBCode - A must for anyone who uses forums a lot.
Bible Toolbar Not sure if they updated this one to work with most recent versions, I went and manually updated the ones I needed to work. But how can I argue with xians without a bible

Read inactive Gray with Dark Gray inactive, and active tab RED with white bold writing. Makes it pretty easy to see where you are.

Thanks, Vladd. I've been looking for something like InfoLister for quite a while. Too bad I just uninstalled all of my extensions to figure out what was crashing my firefox.
Wow, that's a hell of a lot of plugins VladdVladd44 wrote:Extensions
