Had a problem that necessitated formatting my HDD (damn Trojan viruses). Saved what I needed from my HDD to CD, including my Sharing Folder, formatted then reloaded from the CD.
Found that WinMX wouldn't load my Incomplete files. Uninstalled WinMX, downloaded another copy (3.53), no joy. Checked each Incomplete file properties and unchecked the Read Only box....still no joy.

Using Win ME, haven't had any problems in the past. Can anybody offer a suggestion as to why WinMX won't load my Incomplete Files and what I can do to correct this problem?

There is a little file (which from memory is hidden) that is stored in your downloads folder. The name I think is INCOMPLETE_DOWNLOADS.txt (may not be, but I am sure it is similar to that). Check on the CD that all hidden files are shown, and then transfer that txt file to your downloads folder. If needed, hide it again.
