Call me a lil' winy puss for a second here but in all honesty & obvious curiousity when can we expect a upgrade/patch for MX's recent downfalls? my timeouts are outrageous from disconnections from the network. Ive tried (outside of my current ISP aka: Shaw) AOL, AOL dialup AND telus 56k/ADSL. on all 3 of my platforms (98/ME/XP) *WHEW!* so after "evaluating" the situation here with 4 different types on internet connections, multiple port usuage and different OS's its not just my ISP. its the MX network. :?
I did read the article posted, most informative. thats why im curious of a possible patch to be created. the beta 3.54 runs just as well as 3.53, just those damn timeouts. and what can I do to help stabalize the network?

the outragous timeouts are caused by u attempting to download fake files. a patch has been released by bender wich blocks ips. also http://www.p2p-revolution.com a database put together by the people of winmx so u can search for your file through there.

u can also put -c: in the bottom search bar when u make ur searches this will filter out the fakes. but also most real files too but once u have found the download u want the use the find sources buton to bring in the real users.

{MXC}michael, been there dude! :D its the cats ass! gotta love the fine print at the bottom of the page too. and yes, I have done the deed in filtering out "fakes". thus ive been online now for... nearing 32hrs straight out of about a week now. i still get disconnected from the network. yes, ive checked the firewall, security protocals, etc. all i can do now is just Hope.
