I believe its time for them to stop telling fairy stories and admit their overpriced releases are more than responsible for making people turn to P2P, as mentioned before, how is it possible for me to purchse music from the US market and import it myself and still do it much cheaper than the retail outlets ????The New York Times reported that record sales increased in 2004, the first increase in some three years. The newspaper reported that the recording industry reported sales of some 667 million albums, a 1.6% increase over 2003. The increase sales in music came during a time when the recording industry said that piracy was decreasing sales, and while Apple registered its own impressive gains in sales of the iPod digital media device.
