Learn Something For Free

If any of you are like me, you want to learn how to do as much crap as you can. The down side of this is schools cost money. Ever since becoming a computer junkie I have always wanted to build a website. You can take classes for this or get a program like FrontPage or Dreamweaver and teach yourself(like I have). I recently stumbled across w3schools and I am impressed so far. They have free tutorials on HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Virtual Basic, PHP and more. All for FREE!!! They even have quiz's you can take. If you are in the mood to learn something check it out.

Another thing I found on that site is certification. All the training is free, then you pay a small fee to take the certification test. You can be certified in HTML, XML and ASP. All done on-line. It is recognized by a ton of major colleges around the US, didn't notice any universities in other countries.

I think it's pretty cool. Not many sites offer this kind of stuff. You can find tutorials and all that but nothing like this. They even have on-line compilers so you can try out your javascript programming. Very impressive,

so you just do a test online and then you pay for the qualification?

go to the site and on the left at the bottom there is a link for web certification. Read what it says, I just skimmed through it real quick but that is the jist of it.

You are missing some rpetty important files, don't think you will get it running. After that spinning ring it kicks into the 5 minute intro movie. You don't have any of the movies. those are located in that support folder.
