Great news , Bender and Km have co-operated to bring us a plugin for RoboMX 1.1 (Its available from here when the site is up

How it works :

Put the RoomList.rEx in your RoboMX add-ons folder. Start RoboMX and open a server console. type:
host 127.0.0.1 16699 exampleroom
To start a room on TCP port 16699 with the name 'exampleroom'.
Then join the room with the chatclient.
Once you joined the room you have these commands to control the roomlisting:

/list enable [users]
This makes your room visible on the WPN and sets the room user limit to [users] which must be a number between 0 and 65535
/list disable
This makes your room invisible again
/topicthis sets the room topic
/limitThis updates the userlimit
/listhelp
displays a list of available commands

The plugin can only list one room at a time and is limited to a single instance per windows-user

not so much coperating, more he couldn't figure it out so i gave him part of the MCS source to show how it was done...

i dont think either MCS or robomx are the perfect winmx chat server (by a long way) but tthey both have their good and bad points and at least this way the user can chose which they want instead of just being forced to use either winmx or MCS... and choice is what makes things great

Hmm a note from Bender posted on his site.

The server that hosts the RoomList-Plugin Homepage seems to be broken. The webhost says it might be several days until the server is back up. I am too lazy to host it somewhere else or to re-upload it, so it's bye bye Roomlist plugin I guess lol.

Probably a good idea judging from the amount of problems the networks been having recently.
