i have winmx on my comp and up till the other day, it was fine with chat rooms and being able to view them fine, but now it wun let me see the man chat window...its like not even there...its like its linked with the bottom of the screen O.O help!!!

Have you tried clicking the dock button? Or float button.

ive tried everything i can think of battye...yet nothings working...not one of the other WCC/WCG people could give me a solution to my problem, i think i have to format my comp yet i dun want to cause of all the ***** i got to back up......*sigh* i hate problems having nething to do with comps/programs :lol:

Since you said you tried everything I am going to assume you reinstalled winmx?? Other then that I have no idea why chat won't wok for you.

Reinstalling winmx was the first thing i did....after that i tried changing the color settings, then i tried scandisk and defrag (dunno why) ive tried everything, it doesnt want to work :cry:

Any virus checks, adware/spyware checks. I am at a loss with this one.

once again i quote "Everything" i updated AVG and Ad-Aware to the most recent and did a check but am still at a lose...but...come to think of it...it all went whack after i installed that ***** ZoneAlarm program...my friend told me to get it cause i was dealing with a hijack virus or sum crap earlier in the day...

well simple soloution, uninstall anything that you have put on ya comp in the last fw days or week, or use a system restore point and go back 2 a previous set up

How long has that windows been installed and which one is it? XP, 98?
If you are using XP, try to use a restore point to get back to a time when you didn't have this wimx problem.
Don't count your toads until they're running around with their heads cut off.

im using 98 >.> and i think the last time i formated my comp was like 1 1/2 years ago : x dun have many problems with this thing that make it that drastic....
