I've released Rabbit 1.2
There are a couple of minor changes, I've added UserName and MinimumFiles to the lettuce bot in it, and I've made a few small changes to the interface for channel switching as well as making recieved PM's slightly less anyoing
And a refresher for those who missed it .
Thanx again to the MXTools folksRabbit Chat Client
What it is: Its a Chat Client for accessing WinMX Chat Rooms - similar to the popular "Nushi Chat Client"
Main Features:
+ Full support for both WinMX v3.31 and WinMX v3.53 (and 3.52 beta) Chat Rooms
+ Favourite Channels Menu
+ Easy to use (and not overly difficult to customise)
+ *Multi-Line Text Input
+ *Fully customisable right click menu's for both User list and main channel
+ *Fully customisable Scroll Wheel access to commands on the Input box
+ *Automatic Loopback Fix for people with routers that block loopback connections
+ *Pause Option for the channel list to pause list loading
+ *Able to join any winmx channels without needing to be reconfigured for different room types
+ Includes a GREAT Channel Bot
+ Loads of other stuff...
* This is the only WinMX chat client I know of with this ability
How to customise the menu's:
Go to File>Configure Rabbit and a menu will appear allowing you to add items to the right click/scroll menu's!
Variables: The following variables can be used in the right click menu's response:
$NAME$ - The users name without ID numbers
$RAWNAME$ - The users full name with ID
$FILES$ - The number of files the evil leech, I mean user, has
$CONNETION$ - The users connection speed
And in v3.53 rooms if you are admin and set to view IP's on join then for users who joined after you there are also: $IP$ - Users IP
$HOSTNAME$ - The users Hostname (reverse DNS lookup on IP)
Also note: in the responses you can use |\r\n| for a line break to send multiple responses for 1 menu item
Hidden Stuff
If you open the config.ini file in notepad you will find that there are a couple of little tweaks under the [USER] section.
LineType= will allow you to set your connection speed
SharedFiles= will let you set the shared files count to show in the channel
FastList= this will load the channel list much faster for broadband users - this is disabled by default because it uses additional bandwidth (around 4k/s while the list is loading)
