Yes they did Battye, But dont let that discourage you, the makers of Kazaa made this ( and free of spyware to my knowledge as i have had it for a while and just updated ) after Kazaa went down the "gurgle".
I reccomend it. Try it, WHY NOT ITS FREE, but only if the person you are wanting to talk to has it too...
