I was being sarcastic there, but usually if I were to join a forum I would probably make a post, if not I probably joined and found I didn't like the site, in which case I probably wouldn't have joined in the first place, but then again cricketmx is the only forum that I am an active member of. Other than the odd name I can't really gather much evidence that they are indeed a spambot...except this?

Definitely a spambot: http://www.stopforumspam.com/ipcheck/217.77.223.20

If I'm ever unsure I just type the username (or email/IP if it's a real line ball) followed by "stopforumspam" into Google. Generally if they are a bot, they will be in the stopforumspam.com database.

I have deleted them now :)

That's good bit of info, so I will see if we can filter out some of these...

All the websites they have linked are advertising, pretty obvious when it is the same website...and they never posted, they could be real people, just people that spam...

Thanks Layzie, I appreciate that. Every month or two I go back and search for spambots and delete them, so this will definitely save me a bit of time. Cheers! :D
