One thing to note: I've noticed when trying to upgrade from free adaware to pro (or vice versa), it messes up. Be sure to uninstall one before installing the other.
And I agree, Ad Aware and Spybot both have been invaluable to me.

I use AdAware 6 Pro and I also use SpySweeper v3
Two great programs and sometimes it takes more than one, to clean some peoples computers....

Bit old but nevermind. I think you should start with installing Firefox or another browser you like as long as it is not Internet Explorer. If there is one thing that helps you get your computer full of spy/adware it is browsing the web with Internet Explorer.
Better prevent then cure.
I'm using Spybot Search & Destroy and Adaware 6.0 Pro, if you need them you can download them with the following links. Link for Adaware will be up until tomorrow if you need after that you can ask on MSN.
For Adaware 6 Pro:

During the installation it will ask for a password. Use this: 1291453
Spybot is a completely free program and can be downloaded from here:

I suggest that you get the new Adaware SE ... free version of course ... i bet ya find alot of stuff you never seen on adware b4 .... here u cane get it from here :
