An update and a bug fix today. This release should fix the freezing problem. Also if your auto update still isn't working you should replace autoupdate.exe and autoupdate.ini with the ones from the arhive here.

Also several new things this time as well.

#admincmd /kickip <IP> or /kickip <IP>
#admincmd writeprotecton / #admincmd writeprotectoff

The first 3 should be self explanitory. Write protect simply blocks messages with words in it you don't want. This doesn't effect admins. You'll need to add the following to your RCMSConfig.txt if you want the notices in english

$WriteProtectOffNotify$="Message Blocker Diabled!"
$WriteProtectOn$="Message Block On"
$WriteProtectOnNotify$="Message Blocker Enabled"

An example of adding blocked words in rcmsconfig.txt is

Word[1]="@yahoo"
Word[3]="http"

I have downloaded the last version. ChatServerE_500b_2005_05_28_1700.zip
It works fine on W2000 but it does nos saves the new "#admincmd writeprotecton /#admincmd writeprotectoff" command from the "Management situation" panel to the ChatStartUp.txt file. Y think it is the "Message Block On" setting.

Any idea what this is... To be honest I still haven't figured out the vote command in the earlier release

i think it means , that the redirect work better now , less ghost after redirect i just test that today and it work better

The vote command only works with Ouka Chat Client2.
When voting is enabled those using Ouka's client will notice the exit button changes to "Vote".

Then you can click the vote button and vote for whatever it is you're voting on. You'll notice a number appears by your name when you click vote and will increase each time you press it.

I guess it's intended to be used as one of those "press 1 for <whatever>, press 2 for <this idea>" so you press vote until the number you wanted to vote for displays. *shrug* I suppose someone would find it useful, but I dunno who lol

As for the new update? your guess is as good as mine.

and i have noticed that RoboMX version 1.4 , RoboMX 1.51 and Nushi Chat Client have problems to enter the channel with this version , the Ouka Chat Client version 1 and 2 , dont have any problems to enter the channel

So the negotiation between server and client's been changed to fix timeouts.
And he's stress testing redirects, presumably to find/fix the issue with redirects not really working.
