I remember thinking the same thing about RCMS when I first used it.
There does seem to be a lot of commands though, I havent done much testing at at all ,....yet. I wonder just how many commands will actually be needed by hosts and (especially admins) to be run a channel.
Hopefully it will end up being as simple as RCMS after some practice.
RCMS was intimidating to me at first, but really the hosting is only a few commands and even less for admins.
One thing is for sure, we all better get used to this new protocol, because it looks like this is how it will be when the next version comes out.

RCMS is a similar sort of system but the instructions are for the most part logical and understandable , this stuff seeems powerful and trivial at the same time , I suspect we will just use a subset of them and somebody will write a small program to automate them. That is one of the main drawbacks, not being able to accesss all the commands available (some are important ones ). New lamps for old anyone ?

I like he fact that you can right click a name and send them on their merry way. Kickban is the only command I care about

Some times I forget that without RCMS or bend some commands just dont exist

. Most of the new ones are now available from the lower commands Box next to the exit box. I,m still smarting over the no IP checking. On the bright side you can stop the whole room appearing in the WinMX listing if you want..lol I suspect nushichat or robomx might well "see" the room on there lists .

Well I,m actually stretching the truth, I do have some Japanese programs that reveal host or visitor IP addresses but I though if you have a high enough level then this should be available to the host with the new WinMX

if you are admin you can see the users IP when they enter the room.

Are you sure Grinch ? I had a few things running but I never saw that , a conflict maybe ? I was testing BendMx and RCMS as well.

Some times Red the only thing that keep the child porn sharers out is the fact that I can report em , and anything that makes there lives hard is good for me.

. Thanks for the IP info Grinch , I must stop mixing all these toys up

. As I mentioned on another forum , the wpns commands have gone from 3 pages to 5 what happened there ?
Surely this is trivia gone mad ? There seems to be 16 levels to the command structure with 230 (unused , 225 norm ) being the most powerful (load/save cfg xxx) to 5 for viewing what channel you are in
I hope frontcode are going to introduce a GUI soon as its easy to miss a setting with 5 pages worth.
