Lanette, fair play on the SID chip, it was a proper bit of kit for sound... but im not so sure about "more patience back then". to be fair i reckon we just had nowt else to do, and i still swore at that tape deck like it owed me money. also the Spectrum beeper sounds a bit tinny now, but i always thought the games were the better bit, so for me its more the other way round. Sensible Soccer though, definately agree that ate a good chunk of my youth, mostly shouting at the defence, which hasnt changed much watching Leicester...Lanette wrote:The Spectrums were cool, but there was something about that C64 SID chip sound that still hits different.
