Odd, I need to look into that. There is no where in the admin panel where I can enable or disable posting comments.

Try making a comment without putting in a URL, there is a spam filter built in to the blog.

Which URL were you putting into the comments to get the error? I looked through the spam guard filter and didn't see anything that would trigger it based on the URL's I think you would use.
