Back on topic: I think this beats Das Keyboard.
Laser Keyboard. Right now, it's being projected from a bluetooth base, but I bet it won't be long before laptops have a keyboard projector just above the screen, and maybe a stylus area where the regular keyboard would be.

Hmm, an interesting concept. I like your idea of the projector on laptops, I can see it working.

I remember (a few years ago) seeing Apple machines with a microphone in the monitor. It was just a little hole above the screen. I think that would be a perfect place for it.
