thats for sure...i've tried not to get into world of warcraft but man once u get goin the time just flies by and ur like what just happened to my day? and then people who love you end up hating you and its just all around fun

You can play for free, but not on the main servers. I'm not sure if the process is legal or not, but it can be done.

Basically, it involves buying the main game, and downloading a patch that will allow you to connect to another server. At this point, you need to know someone with a server, called as "shard." I only know this because my coworker keeps trying to get me to play. I can try to get more information if anyone is interested. I don't know if these free servers are public or not.

yeah its kinda tough to find these days...game creaters are getting better and better at keeping their games private

Actually that's almost exactly what you do Nesman...altho Everquest does a better job finding these than any other game and usually you're fined within the first 3 months...

i played a free shard of ultima online for awhile and it was cool but not enough people on it to have that much fun...otherwise i know there are other things out there that i'm sure are pretty hard to detect

Although i havent any experience with everquest, i am keen to try it, if i could afford it,(i Can't :cry: ). However, i am aware how time-consuming any internet activity can be, so im very choosy at what to start, also because i know it takes about a year of playing before you are able to do something "cool" . It took me about 1.2 years to be the mediocre player that i am in Runescape, but im getting better.... :dwarf:
