i think we'll have to make a rule of no sniper setup cause u can sneak right up to a guy and look him in the eye on the opposite side of the tree and shoot him and he wont even know it...kind of corny if u ask me altho they can always pick demolitions and the trusty bazooka, that being me

Being a sniper takes skill actually and is part of warfare. You aren't supposed to know where your enemy is. Ghost Recon is not like UT. You have to have skill and use cover and concealment to survive and to be effective.

aka Quake 3
or CS which everyone is big on now...i rather like the old tribes style where a flag was hidden in a base with turrets, but noone wants to make games like that nemore - .-

what you on about most MP games now have a "capture the flag" Q3 has it

tribes is the only series that has worked with the CTF style so far....jet packs are a much needed thing to make flag caps interesting

Guess what guys!
I was at the peddlers flea market this morning, and guess what game flew up out of the case and said "buy me for $5.00" I could'nt believe, brand new too....you guessed it.....Ghost Recon. (now watch it be the wrong version or something) I did get it going on the ABC Bt, after seeing it was gonna take me 3 or 4 days, I thought this was a great deal.
now should I register at ubi.com?
I've been trying to play with it some, soooo many buttons, thank goodness it comes with this keyboard chart.
But I can shoot, and run and crawl, zoom, so far that's about it,
but I'm learning.
Anyway, I got a copy now,

Good going LavaGale. 5 bucks is a good price for a kick-ass game. I am surprised it was that cheap considering how popular of a game it is. Hopefully sometime soon we can get a multi player game going. I wouldn't worry about registering at Ubi Soft unless you plan on playing on their servers.

u dun need to register to play online unless ur gonna use they servers like grinch said, get Gamespy Arcade its a lot better

right i have ghost recon DL and from what i see is just 1 ISO file which is easy so it will take me a few mins 2 extract and install so i am ready when ever you guys are,
all you do lava is install the game, then 1 of us will host a server and give you our IP address and you simply enter that in the box provided in the MP screen and enter, or if the game does not support that then you look for a named room ie ( Boozy's room) or ( Grinch's Love Palace)
