If I can get a peek at the code you are using I can see what I can do. But for some reason the code I see and the code you see for some reason is different. Don't know why that is

Well, now that I look again, the code I have looks to be the wrong one
Do you want me to email you the changes I made? Maybe you can spot something I haven't

By the way, I tried playing with it last night and got extremely frustrated. I have no idea how to get it to work

I am thinking it is a javascript that does it. Do you know what
does? I tried figuring it out but no luck.

I think I may have an idea. Instead of
Code: Select all
action="http://www.battye.jmstacey.net"
Use
and then have the themes residing in viewtheme.html tagged with whatever value the drop down is giving it i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. What do you think?

you would have to have each theme renamed
Code: Select all
viewtheme.html?f=1
viewtheme.html?f=2
viewtheme.html?f=3
viewtheme.html?f=4
viewtheme.html?f=5
i think that may work

I'll let you know if it works tonight. If it does we can go online with this as soon as the other themes are finished or if someone selcts have a page that says coming soon. What happened with that one guy who said he had extensive FP knowledge and wanted to help??? Appalachia, Igloo and Subsilver are done. So I guess we need Silver Xire and Sub Black and we will be up and running. Are all of you links working?? Last time I checked they weren't. I also need to look into the tracker idea. Anyways, I'll get Silver Xire done tonight and test my theory and then we will go from there.

Another idea I had was instead of going directly to the subsilver homepage have
http://www.battye.jmstacey.net go to a screen with your logo and the select a theme dropdown. once the theme is selected it will take the user to the appropriate homepage. What do you think about that?

That's what I was thinking all along

UPDATE:
My theory worked

. The themes need to be named i.e. viewtheme.html?f=Appalachia for the Appalachia theme. Instead of action="viewforum.php" it must be action="viewtheme.html" in the code. It will work. Frontpage will not let me rename my web pages that way so maybe you can do it on your end???? Hopefully that will work.

It didn't work. I suspect the reason is because the file needs to end with a format
Like index.html

Damn, damn, damn

I feel so close to the solution it is driving me crazy. I can get it to view one of the themes no matter what theme I choose so there is something in the code that I am missing. I am so frustrated.
