I don't know if I have the specs to play it. I'm running a 1.5 GHz with a GeForce2 and 512 MB RAM. I imagine I could get it going, at about 640X480 and 12 fps, but who wants to see that?

This game kicks ass. My system only bogged down during intense graphic scenes. Had all the settings cranked up as high as they could go.

And yes you can run Doom III in 640x480

i played it on xbox and well... lets just say that i dont play doom anymore *shudder*

The game is rather crappy with the amount you can see...

There was a webcomic or review out there a while back that summed up the darkness pretty well. I think the point is that you are supposed to be in the dark and scared. I'm glad you don't take damage from walking into a wall.

I've heard that a lot of players have taken to a mod that turns your weapons into flashlights.

it just puts a flashlight on the bottom of your gun like swat teams have

the graphics kik ass!
my comp runs it on full detal at 1024x768x36
i was well pleased being as its a "copy" i have .ISO's on one of my HDD's if you use winmx ya can download it off me (theres 3 disks) i have the crack and keygens too

I have ultimate doom for psx but it makes me feel slightly cramped, i keep trying to look next the telly to see where the monsters show up. i suck at it. :drinkers: :geek:
