I visited this site recently to check a news story and decided that they had the right idea for dealing with the Recording Industry.
They are attempting a worlwide boycott for 5 days in april, so if you feel aggreived post about this and spread the word .

Good tip, Quicksilver. Everybody mark your calendars! No CDs, no movies (including video rentals). If you have cable TV, shut it off, as that traffic may be measured for ratings. If you happen to be a Nielson or Arbitron ratings test subject, report no TV or radio use during that period. While we're at it, let's stop buying games and software during those days. If you have a website, paste in the P2P United banner.

The Entertainment Cartel loves to remind us of how well their legal campaign is working. They enjoy throwing the statistics at us, emphasizing how much P2P usage has dropped (it hasn't). Let's give them some real statistics that hurts them where it counts. A 5-day embargo on RIAA/MPAA products may only reduce their overall sales by a few percent at best, but that will be enough to grab their attention.

Cheers.

Its about time they caught up with me. I've been boycotting the MPAA and RIAA products for years. I will try to shut my TV off for a few days but no promises.
My cable internet will have to stay on though.
