In the Kazzaa crackdown and court case It seems Sharman Enterprises were donating cash to the Red Cross , seems the record companies are attempting to get their hands on that cash , should they gain a court victory ..
Is there no depths to which these scum will not sink ? :x
I,m sure the artists will never see a penny of it , the lawyers might  , heres what Micheal Speck the lawyer says of it all
We will simply ask the Red Cross to freeze the fund until a legal outcome in the Australian court case is reached, and hopes the charity will cooperate. "It would be incredibly disappointing if we had to sue them
Yeah in fact a public relations disaster I should think

I suppose the thing is that the money the Red Cross has been getting wasn't actually Kazzaa's to give away. However, it would be nice if the recording industry were to simply write this one off as a loss. I think the Red Cross will probably comply with the demand but I hope they do it in such a way as to make as much bad publicity as possible for the music cartels.
