Mx Tools Chat Server

Another interesting item from MxTools.
This one is a chat server for winmx 3.53 rooms

Here is a list of its features .

+ Supports all known chat clients
+ *Supports COLOURED TEXT for winmx 3.53 users
+ Easy command set
+ Channel is hidden from the winmx channel list - great for private rooms

* This is the only WinMX chat server I know of with this ability

When it says the channel is hidden from winmx this is usualy another way of saying it doesnt connect throught the wpns network properly (via frontcode), and therefore cant get on the room listing...

Type /help in the channel for a list of commands - startup.txt is run when the server is loaded or when an admin types /reload

It seems some of the site links at mxtools will need updating because of a re-focusing of the sites efforts away from winmx help to winmx software .

what requirements are needed to use the chat server, are they he same as winmx?

Its supposed to be a stand alone thing like Nushichat and should not need WinMx . The drawback of that is that it won,t list on the WinMx channel listings .
