Just letting everyone know what is out there to check out. Doesn't mean I approve of it, but I think everyone has a right to choose their poison. It is the same as the nice people (Laughs) that use Kazaa and believe it is the best. So again I just say that I posted it for informational purposes. I will never ever use another application but MX & [RIP Napster]. Unless some equivalent comes to pass, which I dont think will happen. BT & IRC will always serve their purpose if MX were to ever falter...

If you really want to know it works on the same network as kazaa and bearshare , sharezaa etc, etc. all gnutella client ... but i agree let people know whats out there and let em choose for themselves if we dont like it or not. but your smart tho Quicks for staying away from these cllients as i've heard this network has got a network worm which is downloaded in sections. i dont know if this is true or not or if it is just to scare people off ussing that network. but i do know of people who have been using this network that hasnt downloaded any such thing.

You aint kidding about the bundled crapware that comes with it.
I tried it before i reformatted my PC, Adaware detected and removed over 200 + crapware from my PC.It even deleted the music files i downloaded with it after i uninstalled it.Good thing i didn't share all my music or i could've lost them too.
I experimented with this crapware p2p software , i also tried warez too it sucks.
I'm sticking with WinMX for downloading music for now.

Morpheus uses the official BitTorrent python implementation, thus compatible with established and recognized implementations of the protocol. Morpheus is committed to remaining compatible with existing BitTorrent clients and has taken a far different approach than eXeem.
Morpheus lets you efficiently download multiple torrents at once; managing downloads in a smarter way. A key difference in addition to being able to download torrents is the ability to search for torrents. So, not only can you search and download torrent files, search results include up-to-date seeder and leech counts

But of more importance for most of us looking at this client for the first time is this snippet.

To provide Morpheus free of charge to users, Morpheus serves banner ads and distributes two pieces of 3rd party software: 1) SeekerBar, a search tool bar from IBIS and 2) DirectPeer, contextual advertising software from Direct Revenue. These are installed with Morpheus, however the user can easily delete these programs using their Windows' Control Panel > ADD/REMOVE programs

To be fair they have had to pay most of the revenue earned by ads , on fighting litigation with the fat cat record industry, so far in excess of 4 million dollars.
Even with the backing of the EFF, its not easy to fight off people who regard anyone purchasing music as an "idiot to be milked twice" for the same product in a different format.

that's good news ,too bad they still have 2 third party software ,but it did say that you can remove them from add/remove programs.
torrent fans would probably like the new BitTorrent integration.
i'm not sure if i wanna try again tho.
