When I try to share a few wallpapers I see about 2000 listings of album art. When I print a listing of my music files my printer will print 20 pages of album art before it prints the first mp3 file.
How can I hide album art? I would like to put it in a folder, can I do this or is it part of the mp3 file.
I'm running XP Pro with WinMx 3.31
Thanks
How can share wallpapers without all the album art

It depends what you have more of, Album Art files, or Non-Album Art Files. Make a new folder, call it Other (can be anything you want), and go to the wallpaper folder again, press Ctrl A, and hold down Ctrl and click all the files which you have less of... then drag the files to the 'Other' folder. Hope that made sense

Thanks battye for the reply but I can't see the album art in my music folder, the only way I can see it is to go to a chat room and brouse myself and then it shows up in the listing WinMx sends back. If I uncheck pictures in file types shared then I don't see it at all. If I could see it in my music folder then I could put it in a folder and move the folder elsewhere. I'm beginning to think it's part of the mp3 file and I can't seperate the two. I hope this makes sense.
Once again Thanks battye for the help.

Well, it looks like you accidentally shared your album art file. Go to WinMX, Shared Files, Unshare Folder, and unshare whichever folder isn't the music one
To make sure your getting the right one, browse yourself, click show full paths, that will tell you the folder the album art is being shared from

Never use scan for media..... Just for future reference. Also, it all depends are where the wallpapers are. You need to put them in their own folder as battye said.... and share that folder. Plus the music should be in its own shared folder. Always keep different file types shared in different folders.

Perfect guys thanks alot. So I guess the art stays behind in the my music folder? is it possable to find and label the album art? I'm sorry if I seem so pesty I'm just curious as to how it can remain so hidden.
Putting the mp3s in their own folder instead of the my music folder solved the problem.
Thanks
Great forum battye

Glad to help out
You will need to rename it manually I think
