This fixes around 20 minor bugs and annoyances, such as errors in the configuration, userlist problems, user rename issues, errors in the Plugin API. Cleaned up error messages... etc.pp. New features in this release: Rejoin all channels option, Mute sound button in the toolbar and other minor stuff.
Thanx again Bender , fiancee and Jann

Heres a notice from Bender about what to expect in the new robo release that will be along soon I hope.

Hmm cant wait for itRoboMX is, once again, under heavy development undergoing basic changes and feature improvments. RoboMX 0.3a is on its way but not ready for relase yet. Here is a little glimpse on the upcoming features and improvements coming with this release, for those who are interested
Helix is the codename of the upcoming RoboMX 0.3a. Helix is a planetary nebula in the constellation Aquarius...
What will be new in RoboMX 0.3a:
First of all, the room server will be back. You can host private rooms with it at the moment. It supports a command-set some will probably know from IRC. It is much simplier to use then the WinMX 3.53 commands and even easier then RCMS![]()
Resistant to Scipt-Kiddies:
The roomserver is resistant to ChatAttack in both version 1 and 2 and has a builtin rtf patch. Additionally it can completly block NushiChat and WinMX 3.31 for security reasons. You can limit the number of connections per IP.
Password Protection:
You can set a password for the room to secure your room even more.
Good moderation options:
As on IRC you can set the room into a moderated mode where only users that have voice status can talk. No chance for flooding bots, and trolls. The ban command bans by username, IP and hostname. Admins can specify a reason for kick (/kick user reason). It also offers operator message in a WinMX 3.53 compatible way (/opmsg)
Wide compability:
The server is compatible with WinMX 3.3x, NushiChat, the MXFools.net Chatclient, WinMX 3.53 and of course RoboMX![]()
Other stuff new in RoboMx 0.3a
I will remove the Richedit control from the chatrooms to reduce memory usage and improve emoticon support. Also RoboMX supports now # # even in none RCMS rooms, so you can post multiline messages in every roomThe system console in the chatrooms can be set to hide after the channel has been joined, so you have more place for your chatwindow. The channellist will offer a better search function and will update a lot smoother while it loads the channellist.
I will also do some modifications to the multithreading system to reduce the CPU usage. With some modifications I already fixed the CPU usage peaks and some deadlocks. RoboMX shuts down a lot faster now too,
So if all works as planned this will be a 'kick ass' release![]()
Cheers,
B(l)ender

How much better can it get ? Cheers MXControl1) You can now send AND recieve PM's with RoboMX
2) You can perform Whois queries on users
3) You can browse people on the WPN, and search in the results, copy filenames etc.
4) You can have a fake shared file list (Unlimited number of files and folders) in case you want to present an offline file listing or a message pointing people to your WinMX username![]()
RoboMX connects to the WinMX Peernetwork for these features. You can still connect to chatrooms without a user-id if you want to, but you wont be able to recieve PM's then.
This release also fixes an error in the chatserver and in the chatcontrol (scrolling problem)
The Plugin API has changed (to add support for PM's) so old plugins will not work with robomx. The installer renames all Plugins to plugin-name.bak if you choose to upgrade from an old RoboMX version.
Okay I have a question.... Recently I got Robomx and its great cept for one thing... its supposed to have emoticons yes? Well mine dont work and so how does a stupid person fix this??

I believe you have to enable them Me Here.
Benders always shifting things about in his releases so if your still having problems let us know what release you have
I have started a new thread for Robomx as its getting on for 30 releases So its not really an"Alpha" software build anymore (in my opinion
).
