quicksilver, thanks so much for your help! i see the little tick-box. It was already checked, but I was using the Track at Once option instead of the Disc at Once, so the CD-text option was not available

Thanks for all the suggestions! I had heard of networking but had no idea how to go about it. Both my comp and laptop use XP so I will look more into networking to transfer my files. it seems like the easiet option ^^

I don't burn too many CDs, but when I do I use Roxio. One thing that bugs me is that when the CD is burned, I lose all the information for each song, like 1. (artist) - (song title) just becomes Track 1. Is there a CD burning program out there that keeps the mp3 file information? Thanks for any help...
