BendMX on the WinMX Beta 3.52

Though the beta version of Winmx seems to be more stable with better searches and more connectivity, it however has a drawback of not letting bendmx latch on to it. MX Monitor however latches on sucessfully. No visible changes seem to be there to the minimal user in this new version, so cant see a point in the beta.

BendMx And RCMS both work on the simple principal of "hooking".
what basically happens is that the WinMX prog looks for a set of instructions to operate with, using various code librarys built into it ,but...(the best bit ) when these other programs are present they fool winmx into looking at a new set of instructions, which allows more user commands or a different interface .
The solution to the Bend Problem is Not really going to come about anytime soon as the WinMX code is liable to a lot of change before the new release is finalised , and this makes it next to impossible to write a lasting fix that will be useful in the mean while. But if your a c++ programmer and bored.... :D

well RoboMX works with the new version of MX

so i really don't see why they can't get a copy of Bend that will work soon....... then again didn't i read someplace that Bend will no longer be supported or updated by MXControl?????

Hi Storbinc ,RoboMX was updated to work with the new 3.52 series of betas, Bender was working hard to make that happen.
Unfortunately as you noticed Bender decided to discontinue support for BendMX in favour of RoboMx , so unless a team of C++ programmers gets to work its not going to happen :(
(" Rap Him Self " who helped out on the last build of bendmx was trying to put together a team but nothing more has been heard ).

Its not a matter of better, they do different things . BendMx is purely a Mx add on and Robo is a fully fledged room hosting program . With optional bot

then they technically do the same for the bot, but idk make a poll room in winmx :)

Thats not really comparing like with like is it ? Bender wanted to produce something to rival Nushis Rcms /Nushichat programs. Well he is nearly there but still uses one of nushis code libraries so I think we know who is the master :)

Thats another thorny subject. Every country claims to be the "one true inventor "of it , often citing competing claims of one sort or the other .
I think I,ll stick to the mentioned persons, they are both top rate , but your only as good as your last release it seems :) .

well whoever created the first line of code that they based these programs off of then!
