Anyone researching the Xp ,s activation system would do well to obtain the file (for research only of course ) , Windows XP Service Pack 1 Crack (works! Please Share!!) by Team SAD.zip (size 749, kb ) It features a key generator and a utility to tell you the current number as well as an automatic activation crack , I Believe this was put together by disgruntled Russians but its an interesting "toy" for researchers .

I am not thinking that this one your talking about is what I am 'researching'....
and my source is someone who has a key and has the file available often. Am I making a mistake getting this one tho?

If your key starts with the letters " fckgw " then its a pirate corporate edition which microsoft will deactivate as soon as you try to udate or use one of the following products ,updated Windows media player 9 , XP service pack one , or office XP (read the small print on these products ). This is to prevent piracy , and the corporate editions are the most copied.

I,ve spoke to about 5 ppl in our room so far that all say they tried the new mx then promptly re installed the old one

. Not exactly the good welcome that frontcode would like.

Hmm I,ve had a good look at the new mx now and its still a borderline case for "upgrading"

. One the one hand we have a faster whois and a excellent channel filter function, but in the hosting area it may be a dreary learning curve

. There seems to be 3 separate sets of menus available from the commands button , each with its own advanced tab that leads to a semi jumbled list of commands . My advice if your a non hosting downloader then go right ahead and upgrade, if not wait around for the next release as this one is offering very few useful advantages at the expense of a lot of the good utilities we have become used to.
