I never got rid of my old install file
for the programs i really like I always keep the install programs. makes it a lot easier to get back up and running if your comp ever crashes and you need to format the hard drive.
%make a list and cheak it twice%

There are problems with MX and Zone Alarm that are well known about .
Have you ever visited Vladd44s site to look for assistance ? (ZA gets a mention once a week by some newbies ).

Your Preaching to the converted Red
Most ppl avoid Zone Alarm like a not so happy wasps nest.
I use the free sygate firewall from here.

To be fair to the 'stupid f***rs' I was using ZAP until very recently and loved it. Never one single problem. Not even with WinMX. I only stopped using it cos the latest version is incompatible with my anti-virus software.

I,m glad your one of the happy Zone Alarm users Rat . Manys the time I,ve had my ear bent by someone demanding I help them sort out some obscure fault only to find it was Z.A. all along. What operating system where you using with it ?
It ran perfectly well under win 98, win 98 SE and win XP.quicksilver wrote:I,m glad your one of the happy Zone Alarm users Rat .
