WinMX Won't Search, Download or Upload

I have been using winmx for quite a while, but this week Ihave begun having problems. I hope someone can help!

P2P: WinMX
Problem: Will connect to network, but will not find files/download/upload
When It Started Happening: after we hooked up our wireless internet router
If You Have Installed Any New Software or Hardware: see above
If You Have A Firewall or Router: new wireless router on our home computer
Internet Connection: cable
Internet Service Provider: Time-Warner Cable
Operating System: Windows XP
Ram, Processor, And Other Computer Information: Ram=512, Processor=Pentium 4
Other: help??

If it happened directly after you installed your router, then it is most likely your router.

There is a good article regarding how to fix connection problems here.

Road Runner tries to block WinMX a lot...set the ports you're running WinMX through as

TCP: 120
UDP: 80

or it's the other way around...that should fix everything
