The Firefox Navigation Toolbar contains....

The Firefox Navigation Toolbar contains, as those of you who have it will know, a built in Google search box. Did you know that if you click on the Google icon in the box, a drop down list appears with alternative search engines in it? You can even add more engines such as Altavista and Ask Jeeves. For the Americans there's even a Webster's Dictionary engine you can add.

Also, did you know that clicking on the little swirly sign (the one that's a circle of dots that swirls when you're loading pages) takes you to the Firefox homepage?

This was today's useless information.

I had moved those thing off of the navigation bar to put them inline with my address bar and the few icons I still wanted. I couldn't ,for the life of me, make the bar they had come from go away. It just sat there, in it's blankness, mocking me. I never would have thought that it was the navigation bar that I needed to go. I figured that causing that bar to not display would be bad for navigation.

I finally caught on after installing it on a work computer.
