Yes, there is, and I don't like it. If you sign up for a trial of this version, you'll get, amongst other things, a free DVD burn. After making a trial disc, the view was ok-ish on my laptop (with a black frame) but, when I put the disc in my dvd player, the tv showed a small picture with a very wide frame that I couldn't get rid of using either the tv or dvd controls. Given that I have dvd burners that work efficiently and reliable anti-virus, the other bits and pieces were insufficiently attractive to make me take the plunge. There are, for example, an awful lot of transcoders to convert your file into other formats.... but I couldn't find even one that I could make use of. Got a TiVo? Maybe it'll be good for you. Got an i-phone? Go right ahead.

It took a long time to work out how to get rid of the "plus" features from my Vuze when I decided not to pay for the premium version. I had error messages every time I loaded Vuze until I checked forums and found that lots of folks were having the same issues.

Moral: Test first. Pay (or not) later.

PS. The ads in Vuze cost good money to remove but are unobtrusive.... so I ignore them for free.
