Need Help With My Movie

I have recently d/l a movie from a freind, it is in avi! I have converted it to mpg with Cucusoft, it did well plays great. I was told to next use ifo edit , but when i do i get a error sayin may be copywrited! Any suggestions on easy next steps to get it to the point of burning for me?? I have Nero for burning !
Any help would be appreciative by me and hopefully it is easy LMAO!! (Hint!)

I use this program extensively. I never had a message popup saying anything like that so I would ignore it if possible. and continue on. I am hoping you have a DVD burner because this would all be unnecessary if you don't.

my bros having a problem with a video he dl'd, he says its in some sort of new DVD2 video format and he cant play it at all, im not sure what codecs he has, but he said WMP nor DivX would play it at all...i think his codecs might be the problem...ne suggestions? im stuck with it, ill tell him to get the Nimo Codec Pack but idk other than that...i think he has the newest of the MP's

Have him use a program called GSpot which he can download here to see what format it is and what codec is needed to play it.
