could anyone explain?
also i would like to suggest a feature(dunnow if this can be done here):
i would like the #private #message command to be double (like #adminmessage and /opmsg) ...would like it to be /private (guess i'm asking to much )
thnx in advance for any replies

Okay, Run the program, in the chat screen right-click your mouse and a small menu will appear. Where it says User Menu go down to it and it will expand a little left-click the second entry, you will see that some text is put into the channel. Now goto the folder you have the program in and open the Config.ini file you see at the top? You should see what was just put into your channel, see the |r|n bit? remove those and replace them with #\r\n# then at the very end of it all put \e, Now save the file. Start the program up again now go back to the User Menu this time click the second entry. What happened? it should've put the text into the text bar and not into the channel, if you hit return now you will see it's put into the channel the same way as before. Hope that helps youJoshua203 wrote:must be my brain that is dead but i donot understand this :

PS: I say to change |r|n to #\r\n# because it simply wont work in the channel to use the other one, you don't have to though to see what the \e does...
Also theres an updated version of the server out today. Update is the chat format editting (exactely the same as WCS/MCS) to do this use #AdminCmd TextFormatOn and #AdminCmd TextFormatOff, Add the following to your RCMSconf.txt file:
[TextFormat] ; (0=User, 1=Admin, 2=Host & CoHost)
Format[0]="#c2#<%NAME%#c2#> #c1#%TEXT%"
Format[1]="#c10#<#c2#%NAME%#c10#> #c1#%TEXT%"
Format[2]="#c8#<#c2#%NAME%#c8#> #c1#%TEXT%"
And:
$TextFormatOn$="Text Format Enabled"
$TextFormatOnNotify$="Text Format Enabled!"
$TextFormatOff$="Text Format Diabled"
$TextFormatOffNotify$="Text Format Diabled!"
There could be more, Ive just started using it now so if I find any more Ill be sure to keep you updated.
Big thanks to Ouka
PS: Forgot to add this chat formatting can be overridden by any user who types #atscmd mctoff, if you do this your WinMX (chat client) will revert back to the old WinMX <NAME> format, Also colour text support is disabled tor the client, #atscmd mcton turns it back on.

manymanymany thnx jason (i will be able to figure this out now and big cherio for ouka too for this great piece of work...keep this up guy's you are doing a good job (i'm hitting your site every 48 hours!!!wow you are giong so fast on updates and info):P
I post te following so maybe it could help another Ouka Chat Server User.
If a Channel name of more than 40 characters long is used the BendMX in the WinMX clients doesn't work. Commands of BendMX are not listed on the Input Line.
In my opinion the Server should display a message when more than 40 character Channel name is used, or Chanel Name should be truncated to 40 Characters.
Aniway.... Many thanks to Ouka for a nice Server. And to all the people that support the server.

Had this version for a few days and it seems to run perfectly, not an official release I dont think buts Ive used it for over 150 hours without any problems.
510b 2005 07 24 1900 Updates:
New command that lets Admins and Cohosts see what a user is typing when they have been muted.
#AdminCmd WatchIgnoreOn
#AdminCmd WatchIgnoreOff
Need to add the following to the RCMSConf.txt file though as that hasnt been updated. Not essential but recommended.
$WatchIgnoreOn$="Watch Ignored Users Enabled"
$WatchIgnoreOnNotify$="Watch Ignored Users Enabled!"
$WatchIgnoreOff$="Watch Ignored Users Disabled"
$WatchIgnoreOffNotify$="Watch Ignored Users Disabled!"
Also an update for the text formatting options. One for users that have been muted, add the following line to the RCMSConf.txt file under Text Format.
[TextFormat] ; (0=User, 1=Admin, 2=Host & CoHost, 3=Ignore)
Format[3]="#c2#<%NAME%#c2#> #c1#%TEXT%"
Japanese version
English version

Thanks Protoman
I have tried this version, abit dissapointed that he has decided to force [Ouka] in the channel topics though
None the less, I have a new command that has been added. From its name I guess it sets the amount of files thats needed to get into your channel. (Might work inconjunction with the zero file block, I haven't tested it out fully)
#AdminCmd SetShareBlockNum 0 - 65535
Big thanks to Ouka
