It seems to get more prevailant the longer that Ouka is running!!!!!

That suggests a problem such as over-use of processor resources or a memory leak. Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the program manager. Click on the 'processes' tab. What percentage of the processor is in use? Which program is using the most memory? Does the situation get worse as you watch? This could be a bug.

i understand your problem becuse i have the same one with my server too, specially when some one redirect the server to your server i thougt ouka resolved that problem with server v1300 but he havent i have talk to him and he knows about the problem but he's not making moore servers for the moment he have other projects in mind and i respect that

..... big problems is always resolved with small solutions (japanese proverb)

Off topic here but for people who have read the complete post you'll have noticed that I wrote a plugin for MXChat called OkuruKuru well I updated it fixed a spelling error and added the RCMS limitation commands to the Advanced menu.

First update in quite a while and some nice new features too ^_^

First and most noticable is the totally new layout, which takes a little getting used to but I happen to prefer it now that I've adjusted to it.

New additions are a force username command and an allow rename command (for users who were renamed). These can both be found under the right click menu under set nickname. There is also an user stats function that can be accessed via print user level.

New commands are...
#usercmd /level <name>
#setnickname <name> #name <forced name>
#admincmd #renamepermission <name>

New things to stick in RCMSconfig.txt are...

$SetNickName$="Set NickName"
$SetNickNameNotify$=" was prohibited the change of name!"
$RenamePermission$="Rename Permission"
$RenamePermissionNotify$=" was permitted the change of name!"

$VoteOn$="Vote ON"
$VoteOnNotify$="Vote ON!"
$VoteOff$="Vote OFF"
$VoteOffNotify$="Vote OFF!"

voting is done with #admincmd toribiaon and #admincmd toribiaoff
Honestly I'm not exactly sure what it is. Here's what he said about it though...

The vote function is an experiment in conjunction with
OukaChatClient1.00c. When voting, it plays 001.wav if it's present in the folder.


I also tested redirecting a few times and didn't encounter any problems with it but that doesn't neccesarily mean anything. I guess we'll have to wait and see on that one.

I'd translate it for you except that it's labeled as a test version on Nantonaku's forum. So there's probably going to be a new release sometime soon, which should have an english version.

Is it just me but when you set this the server tends to become unstable and crash..
Twice the server has actually crashed and one time it just sat there using 90%+ cpu, all three times Ive had the server <P=12/12>, Just trying it now back to normal with 8, even removed the line completely from the configuration file.. Shame too cause i liked that

and within 10 mins Ouka 'froze'
