Here is another christmas present for you: roboServ 1.00

roboServ is a standalone chatserver for the WPN. Its the one that used to be in RoboMX with some modifications and a lot of improvements:

1) new simple command set
2) new simple customizable GUI
3) multilanguage support
4) advanced chat statistics
5) some fun commands for advanced users
6) optional color support
7) and and and

German users can download a german language pack there too

Please note that this is a preview release and not everything might work as expected. Happy xmas :-)

Okay, I made it final because I wont waste any time on computers over the holidays ;) :
roboServ 1.0:

The ban command now takes wildcards for usernames, IP's and hostnames so you can ban a whole subnet for example: /ban idiot* /ban 193.111.92.* /ban *.dialin.comcast.net
Userlimit and Exiledestination are now saved across sessions
Fixed multiline motd containing colorcodes and added multiline motd support for WinMX 3.3x clients
Fixed colored text when using colortags in the username
Updated commands.txt and corrected some typos

Changes:
  1. Rewrote rename handling to avoid ghostusers (hopefully)
  2. Finished automatic update mechanism
  3. Added default usermode setting
  4. Added some subchannel settings
  5. Fixed configuration files (again)
  6. Fixed logins for mainchannel
  7. Fixed variables not replaced in topic
  8. Fixed colors are not displayed for RoboMX
  9. Colors are now automatically disabled for Metis (Clientstring must contain Metis. Check View->OPtions->Fun in RoboMX for that)
  10. Some other stuff ;)

I can,t wait to test it out , unfortunately I,m not at home this week so I cant do any testing :(
I had a quick sneak at your forum Bender and I see your getting plenty of feedback :)

This style is from Prof UIS the VS 20005 is Visual Studio Style :lol: :wink: 8)

    roboServ Version 1.1 RC 1 Size: 384KB

    changes in roboServ:
    • Fixed private message bug with colors disabled
    • Cleaned up userinterface
    • Changed default settings. Please delete any configuration files of roboServe before using this and let me know if the new default settings are usable. Thanks

    If no problems are reported this will become the final release

Changes in RC2
+ Fixed subchannel permissions- and lagproblems
+ Fixed bug in colortable
+ Added /part command which redirects you to the mainchannel if you are in a subchannel
+ Corrected various minor errors (banlisting etc.)
+ Modified default settings. Colors now disabled by default.
