Ultimately the forum software needs to be updated, adding a captcha to help prevent bots from registering and SSL would be a good idea too...
Yes it does, there's so many spam posts and I meant to do the big update and clean-up last year, I've been a bad admin

Not sure how much help I can be, but let me know if there's anything I can do to help...even if it is deleting threads from spammers lol. I have had some attempts at getting a forum going and just hard to get an audience on a forum.
