Flappy Bird
Blockbuster game has world in a flap
Flappy Bird is a devilishly simple, phone-smashingly frustrating game in which you guide a small yellow bird through an endless series of gates simply by tapping the screen over and over again.

Writes another five-star reviewer:
"Don't download, don't exit the app, just drop your phone and get out.
I haven't slept in five days, and I've lost all feeling in my fingers."

And now it's gone... :(

In a surprising and somewhat anguished tweet last weekend, Hanoi developer Nguyen Dong, whose Twitter handle is @dongatory, had a note posted on Twitter saying he was pulling his wildly popular time-waster, Flappy Bird, from app stores on Sunday.

“I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users. 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down. I cannot take this anymore.”
I like the name Flappy Bird. It's sad he's taking it offline.

LOL. Very good, battye. Heh heh. :D

More recently, more clones has popped up on retro computers too. Like the Commodore Amiga and even ZX81! Unbelievable.
