Yes they are supposed to be there. Google Ads don't just magically appear.

I only added them a few days ago which probably explains why you only get them at campus :)

That would be funny. Your campus manages to stick ads in the bottom of every page you visit. It could be done, I think.

Battye full marks for choosing unobtrusive ads.
My pet hates are the "ugly smilie images" and the "your computer clock is wrong" ads that hover the page

I also hate those smilely central ads , your computer clock is wrong ads & those those damn annoying pop-up,pop under ads & the ones the follow you whenever you scroll the webpage your on. :x
What the hell is the point of having pop under ads on a site, it's not like you can read them anyways. :?

Whoever won that super-alien-computer that plagued the net a year ago?
I hope it came ad-mal-ware-free

Damn, your pop-up buster is better than mine? (A year ago...) :o

Anyway, it was some computer that you could win by responding to some crappy pop-up... It looked like an alien-style sort of thing... Dunno what company it was...

Oh i never seen any popup ads for a super alien computer.I not using a popup blocker now and probably wasn't using one most of last year either,(maybe 3-4 months only).
I haven't been able to find a freeware popup blocker that blocks all popups.
Most of the ones i've tried failed popup test sites.

Alienware make some pretty 8) & awesome looking PC's.
