most thanful for your reasoning on this one vladd. the bot programs are very useful for this type of activity and running the password scheme on the bot has proved very successful. (admin types password from known ip) the golden days of chat are returning....(crosses fingers)

it must be coffee time my friend.. as you say nobody gives admin to a stranger. if you know your admins ip address,s and wish to check that it is in fact them you would want to use....? . as i,m sure your aware a user name on its own is no proof of identity.

h,mm cant say i agree completely with you two on this issue. i find it invaluble to be able to check that the person i,m about to admin is who they say they are. also i have never experienced a collapse of the room due to using the printuserlist. this obviously is a personal choice matter mentioned ...
