you might want to help it out by switching to subsilver (the ultimate boring and simple) and override user settings, this way you might conserve 100 - 300 MB of bandwidth. Disable any features that uses a lot of bandwidth, avatars, sigs, the last thing you want is waiting for May 1st. OR buy more bw...

from what I can tell nut's site http://www.64th.net still has the subdomain, so I'm not sure how it will be handled. But with the traffic this site gets, you could have the longest domain in the world and it wouldn't phase it..
