Re: A bakers dozen for CricketMX

It is hard to believe that it has been 12 years. Makes me feel old. I mean afterall when I first joined CMX in 2004 I was a junior in highschool and now I'm 30...crazy how that happens.

I do hope vertyone hads a good 2017, despite the recent ...political event in the US.

Re: 11 and counting for CricketMX

Hey Red!! Long time no see... Well WinMX is still around and appears to have a large Japanese user base as posted on http://www.winmxworld.com/ Well I think it is just our core group that has stuck it out for years... Which I think it is great...started in 2004 and 11 years later there's that's core...

Re: The Articles Topic

So what kind of research are you doing? Are you a web designer. Your posts there sort of indicate that in the other forums. Food Link Mandai seems to be some sort of food court/development complex, can't say for sure though....Not sure why you're quoting the Articles bot on a two year old post, I re...

Re: 360 View

You can do the 360 photo with most smartphones, as for the website probably would have to develop the code to allow guests to rotate, or you could just have it spin around on its own...

Re: CricketMX celebrates double digits

Ditto indeed. There are many things that don't last ten years: Cars, girlfriends, jobs, lightbulbs ( :P ), politicians, TV shows, and so on... It great that CMX does last longer, there's not too many things that really connect me back to my past (even though I gasp at some of the things I posted). C...

Windows 95 in 2014

Clearly Windows 95 has been obsolete for some time now but can't you use it to do normal tasks in 2014? Surf the web, check email, watch youtube? Right now I'm typing this thread under Windows 95 and Firefox 2.0. I won't be able to answer all these questions yet as I'm sure I will run into technical...

PCem - Probably the best PC emulator ever

I say that because I like the fact that PCem accurately emulates the speed of the IBM PC. It also uses the actual BIOS from different motherboard of the era. It will emulate everything from the original IBM PC to an AMI BIOS with a 486DX4/100. There's some drawbacks, no internet capability, no seria...

Re: Clean Keyboards

Yeah most keyboard can in fact be put in the washer. I had a customer of mine back when I was self employed to it. Told them to put it upside down and let it dry for 24 hours and had no problem. They were thrilled that I didn't cause them to have to gout and buy a new keyboard.

Re: Facebook intergration?

What they have done is created a Facebook page for phpBB. I'm thinking along the line of having a like and share button that would share a post or topic to Facebook that links back to here. No so much that it will make life easier, but a new avenue to capture a large audience. The more that people l...

Re: Facebook intergration?

He does, although not as fequent, seems that there isn't quite the traffic here as their used to be, but then again for 8 years of the same group of people, I'd say it's still going well. I think porting through facebook may help get some more traffic and some new users (that aren't bots) to the com...
