Personally, against spyware/adware I use: Ad-aware Spy bot search and destroy Spyware blaster (supposedly prevents various infection methods like spy bot does). All 3 are kept up to date. I don't visit porn or warez sites either. I find that many commercial sites have at least a data miner lurking s...

And you were told wrongly. I have personal experience that ZA can and does work with various flavours of windows running winmx.
I don't doubt that some people have trouble but then, some people have trouble with all software. One persons 'magic' word processor is another persons garbage.
