Re: Dynamic timer
Right. I finally got round to doing this. Did all the required edits and creation of the .js file, which was uploaded to root of my test forum. Ran a test quiz but all I'm getting is: Time remaining: ... and no countdown. :( I've also tried clearing the templates (have eXtreme Styles MOD installed) ...

Re: Big Thread of Spam Bots
I never did get round to installing a MOD that shows the Bots. Got "who has been online in past 24 hours" one. Bots go flipping nuts at my website a few days after it's been really busy (new posts, etc). I quick look in Admin CP overview once revealed a staggering 57 Google Bots, 9 Yahoo, ...

Re: How do they do it?
Quite a few years ago, despite having the best security software on PC, I got infected with a trojan (can't remember what one) just by visiting a website.... a Model Village for some place in Devon, UK! It hadn't been updated for so long, the site had been hijacked and infected. Fortunately, it does...

Re: [ Poll ] Which search engine do you use?
I voted Google. If I had to make a top three list it would be: 1. Google, 2. Yahoo, 3 - Live Search. I like Google not only because it's search results list at the top, sites specifically what I'm looking for, but I have iGoogle as well as my home page with News feed, roaming eyes, calendar, joke of ...

Re: 3 Steps - Keep your computer Crap Free
Great guide there (first post). So important to keep security tight to drastically reduce the risk of infections. What gets me is that some people don't even activate trial versions that come with a new PC! One friend called me and said "there's all this stuff popping up on screen". I chec...

Re: Dynamic timer
Hi all, I'm also REALLY interested to get a dynamic timer displayed within UQM at my site as well and am intrigued to know how exactly I can achieve this. I know for a fact that when I add this MOD to my site (I'm currently fiddling with it at my test site), and implement the timer, members are goin...
